These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your access to and use of AetherAI Remind ("the App", "we", "our", or "us"). The App is provided free of charge and is intended for use as-is, consistent with common ad-supported Android launcher applications. By installing, accessing, or using the App, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the App and uninstall it from your device.
You must be legally permitted to use the App in your region and comply with all applicable laws. If you are under the age of majority in your jurisdiction, you may use the App only with permission from a parent or legal guardian.

Features may vary by device, Android version, and region. We may add, modify, or remove features at any time.
Some launcher features require you to set AetherAI Remind as your default home app. Android will ask for your confirmation before applying this change. You may switch to another launcher at any time through system settings without uninstalling the App.
Setting the App as your default launcher does not give us control over your device beyond the permissions you grant and the features described in our Privacy Policy.
To operate as a launcher and reminder app, the App may request permissions such as visibility into installed applications, widget hosting, alarm scheduling, boot-time alarm restoration, microphone access for voice input, internet access, and advertising identifiers. Each permission is used only for the purposes described in our Privacy Policy.
You may revoke optional permissions in Android settings. Revoking required permissions may limit or disable related features. For example, denying microphone access disables voice input but not manual reminder entry.
Notification permission: Where required by your Android version, the App may request permission to show notifications in the system notification shade. This works with scheduled alarms to deliver reminder alerts at the times you set. You can turn off notifications for the App in system settings at any time.
Media and storage access (Storage Cleanup): If you use Storage Cleanup, the App may
request access to photos, videos, and audio on your device
(READ_EXTERNAL_STORAGE on older Android versions where applicable;
READ_MEDIA_IMAGES, READ_MEDIA_VIDEO, and READ_MEDIA_AUDIO on
newer versions). These permissions are used only to scan and list eligible media locally so you can
review and manage selected items. Media files are not uploaded to our servers for this feature.
Deletion occurs only after you confirm the action, and on newer Android versions may use the system
MediaStore delete confirmation flow. Denying these permissions does not affect core launcher or
reminder features; only Storage Cleanup scanning will be unavailable.

AI reminder suggestions are provided for convenience only. AI output may be incomplete or inaccurate. You are solely responsible for reviewing and confirming all reminder details—including date, time, repeat rules, and title—before saving. We are not liable for missed events or incorrect schedules resulting from reliance on AI suggestions.
Reminder delivery depends on your device settings, battery optimization, do-not-disturb rules, exact alarm permissions, and network conditions. We do not guarantee that every reminder will fire at the exact intended moment in all circumstances.
Storage Cleanup is an optional feature that helps you identify media that may be removable. You are solely responsible for reviewing items before deletion. Deleted files may be permanently removed and may not be recoverable. We are not liable for data loss resulting from Cleanup actions you confirm.
The App is ad-supported and may display advertisements through third-party networks such as Google AdMob. Ads help keep the App free. Advertising partners may collect device and usage data as described in our Privacy Policy. Purchasing or using the App does not guarantee an ad-free experience unless we explicitly offer a paid ad-free option.
The App may integrate third-party SDKs, AI providers, advertising networks, analytics tools, and external websites. We do not control third-party services and are not responsible for their availability, content, or practices. Your use of third-party services may be subject to their own terms and privacy policies.
The App, including its design, branding, and software, is owned by us or our licensors and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws. These Terms do not grant you any ownership rights in the App.
You retain ownership of reminder content and other information you create in the App. You grant us a limited license to process that content only as needed to provide and improve the service, including transmitting AI input to our servers or providers when you use AI features. Media accessed for Storage Cleanup remains on your device and is processed locally for that feature as described in the Privacy Policy.
THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT, TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE ARE NOT LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF DATA, PROFITS, OR GOODWILL, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE APP. THIS INCLUDES DAMAGES RELATED TO MISSED REMINDERS, INCORRECT AI OUTPUT, LAUNCHER LAYOUT LOSS, STORAGE CLEANUP DELETIONS YOU CONFIRM, AD CONTENT, OR THIRD-PARTY SERVICE FAILURES.
WHERE LIABILITY CANNOT BE EXCLUDED, OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO THE APP WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US FOR THE APP IN THE TWELVE MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM, OR (B) USD $10.
We may suspend or terminate your access to the App if we reasonably believe you have violated these Terms, created legal or security risk, or engaged in abusive behavior. You may stop using the App at any time by uninstalling it.
We may update the App, these Terms, and related policies from time to time. Material changes will be posted on this page or within the App. Continued use after updates constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
Your use of the App is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect, use, and protect information, including launcher permissions, media access for Storage Cleanup, and advertising practices.
These Terms are governed by applicable law, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, except where mandatory consumer protection laws in your jurisdiction provide otherwise.
